How does our product work?
Half-hourly meter readings are compared against an expected profile built from the building's own history, adjusted for outside temperature and occupancy calendar.
A persistent gap raises a work order for an engineer to investigate.
Overview
The most common cause of wasted energy in our estate is not poor insulation but controls left in the wrong state — heating on in an empty school over a holiday, or a valve stuck open for months.
These faults are invisible on an annual bill and obvious in half-hourly data. Finding them is the cheapest carbon reduction available to us.

System description
Alerts concern buildings, not occupants, and the data is not granular enough to indicate individual behaviour. Where a building's use genuinely changes, the expected profile is rebased rather than the alert being suppressed.
