Intended purpose

Overview — Objective 3Sixty is an information-management platform used to connect multiple information repositories and bring consistency, control and searchability to content. It helps the Inquiry discover, organise and federate information, supporting and extending organisational governance.

How it is used — The Inquiry Team uses the platform to catalogue evidence. It can automate document classification, using metadata or generative AI, either fully or partially, analysing each piece of evidence and suggesting a classification. It also detects and flags duplicate pieces of evidence submitted by Inquiry providers, helping the team avoid redundant work.

Scope and limitations — The platform is limited to assisting with good information management; it does not carry out any decision-making.
